To further their involvement with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), Enzo's Pizzeria and Italian Cafe located at 759 Horizon Drive is planning a grand re-opening to benefit MDA. Enzo's owner, Vincenzo Favale, was "locked up" last month as part of the Telethon Executive Lock-Up program sponsored by MDA. As a "jailbird," he was required to raise "bail" by soliciting donations from friends, family, and community members.
"I'm happy to support MDA's efforts however I can," said Vincenzo "Enzo" Favale, owner. "The Association brings hope to so many families in Colorado and I am proud to be a part of their commitment to our community."
Continuing their support of the local community, Enzo's is offering car wash service to patrons during the grand re-opening and giving all proceeds to the Association. Funds raised will benefit local families affected by neuromuscular diseases by helping MDA provide muscle clinics for adults and children, summer camps for kids ages six to 17, a loan closet with durable medical equipment, and nearly $1 million in local research funding.
In addition to the car wash, Enzo's will have live music on site and giveaways throughout the day. The festivities begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 31.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) is a voluntary national health agency - a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases that affect more than a million Americans.
